Sooooo we’ve launched an online education platform about a month ago. The catch is that courses are conducted via live video calls. Point is to provide quality education compared to other existing models. Classes are small, interactive and they play role of accountability group.

Problem we had was supply/demand balance. Just because courses are live we do not have them in supply once they’re sold out. We have to ask an educator to create multiple courses and have them checked, making sure all is fine. This is totally doable. Standard supply chain management problem. However I cannot make an educator re-post courses forever while I cannot manage to sell them.

While all this happening our platform looks empty, as if nothing much going on. However we sell almost all courses that are created upon request.

Hence we’ve decided to make Course Request a Thing. Easy and smooth experience. To do so we needed to get down to the bottom of it. What do people need to get a job? They need 2 types of courses. Ones that teach them principles, that provide theoretical knowledge. The others that give practical tools to master. And all these for getting a foot into a career path.

This being said we’ve created a filter with a list of categories like Marketing and Design. There are list of professions in each category. This way it’s much easier to identify what exactly do you have to learn. As we know courses all throughout the internet are very ‘random’. Do not provide a big picture for you to analyze.

Here’s the link to the Course Request page: https://qandle.ge/request-guide It’s not fully ready but you’ll get the idea. Please, let me know what you think.

P.S. Language Switch is in Top Nav-Bar
